This T-maxx was built by me many years ago and after it was done it was basically a shelf queen. I always put after run oil in my cars so it started right up this summer but it needed the batteries to be replaced so I bought new Turnigy packs for the handheld starter and the receiver (see photos for details). I also bought a pair of front and rear XTM red anodized aluminum body mounts but they are still new and I never put them on. I intended to put a '40's Chevy truck body on it and it is cut and ready for mounting you just need to adjust the front body mounts, paint it and cut out the wheel wells. I never used the stock radio so it is still new. I always ran it with my Futaba 3PJ super transmitter so it has a Futaba FM receiver installed currently. You will need to install the included new Traxxas 2215 three channel receiver and use the original transmitter that is new and included unless you want to buy the 3PJ from me (it cost over $400 back in the day). I will sell it to you for $100 if you buy the T-Maxx. I put a full set of RPM skid plates on it and if you look at the pictures you can see that they are still looking new. In fact a look at the bumpers will tell you how hard a life a nitro truck has had and this is a cream puff. After carefully breaking in the engine this baby has enough power to do wheelies up to about 20mph! then it lays down the fronts, shifts gear and takes off! It is probably hitting close to 50mph but maybe that's just what it feels like, this thing hauls butt! Oh yeah I also put a very expensive high speed metal gear servo in the steering. If you are even thinking about getting yourself one of these legendary history making trucks you aren't going to find a better one than this.
